 3. SpaceX Starship Explodes During Test



Elon Musk’s SpaceX Starship exploded during splashdown in the Indian Ocean on May 23. The setback comes as banks compete to lead the company’s upcoming IPO, which is targeting a valuation of over $2 trillion.

 4. Immigration Crackdown in the US



Immigration arrests in New York are up 71% since Trump’s takeover. Between Jan 20, 2025 and Mar 10, 2026, ICE arrested 5,567 people in the NYC area. Trump also appointed ex-CIA officer Aaron Lukas as acting US Intelligence Chief.

 5. Diplomacy and Fuel Prices Shift



UN Nuclear Treaty talks ended without a deal due to US-Iran disputes. In India, fuel prices rose again – petrol up 87 paise, diesel 91 paise, and CNG rates increased too. US Secretary of State Marco Rubio wrapped up a visit to Kolkata and Delhi, marking the first US secretary visit to Kolkata in 14 years.
